IT STARTED WITH A DESIGN
This brand began with a design meant to symbolize the fight for freedom
I’m Max, and I’m a designer from Maine. For years I’ve worked with computer engineers and developers in Ukraine – partnering on projects for all sorts of clients. In December of 2022, a group of my colleagues in western Ukraine found
themselves unable to work as electrical service around the country was crippled by Russian strikes on civilian infrastructure. Via sporadic text correspondence, we talked about what could be done to maintain support for
the people and military of Ukraine, help restore vital services, and also provide for future defensive planning.
What came out of that planning was a new brand and a new design, as well as a commitment to donate 90% of proceeds from sales of this design to immediate investment in rebuilding Ukraine.
